* Tarik has played 1 year of Junior College basketball. To our understanding, the new rule regarding the case of Diego Pavia, is that any college athlete that has competed in a Junior College setting prior to the 2024-25 season for at least 1 season, gets an extra year of eligibility in NCAA competition.
Tarik islamovic:
“I will always be one of the hardest working guys in the program. I bring a very good shooting ability, as well as being a good teammate and good student that takes care of off court stuff as much as on court, putting the team first. As a PG/SG, I bring a lot of experience at the collegiate level. I am a natural leader on and off the court and I am not scared of the big moment.”
Windmills:
“Tarik Islamović is an incredible player with all the skills and tools needed at the highest level of college basketball. His story is one of perseverance and hard work. After finishing high school in Florida, he moved to Iowa to play Junior College basketball for a year. Out of JUCO, he made his way to Mississippi for his Sophomore year but ended up having to transfer again due to unforeseen circumstances. He luckily found a great spot at the University of Maine Fort Kent where he has had an impactful season. Tarik wants to have an impressive Senior year to propel his professional career after college. We think, because Tarik plays the right way, he can lift any program to the next level.”
